The iQOO 12 earned one of our highest review scores upon its December release last year, and with good reason. The phone's superb build quality, striking display, powerful cameras, and, most importantly, lightning-fast speed all pleased us. All of this was provided by iQOO at a very attractive price. For a considerable amount of time, it was the cheapest phone that came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which up until a month ago was the most potent flagship processor in the premium market. In the premium market, this type of value proposition is uncommon, yet iQOO managed to pull it off.
While there was no competition for the iQOO 12 at its price range last year, the Realme GT 7 Pro, which has a Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, is prepared to compete with the iQOO 13, the phone's successor. Starting at Rs 59,999, the Realme phone is excessively expensive for the flagship iQOO phone.
After two weeks of using the iQOO 13 as my daily driver, I'm here to tell you if it has what it takes to outperform the Realme phone and if it can effectively carry on the legacy of its predecessor. Let's get straight to the in-depth analysis.
As you might anticipate, the iQOO 13 is a performance beast. The phone has the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which will power the majority of premium devices in 2025. Although the new iQOO smartphone is better than the previous model in many ways, it does not have the periscope lens that made the previous model stand out from some other phones in its price range. But even with it, the iQOO 13 still has good optics and can take some amazing portrait photos. Regarding performance, I had no problems with the iQOO flagship and experienced a flawless gaming and general usage experience.
